    Director of Revenue

     

    _Shape the Future of Revenue Operations at Omnicell_

     

    Omnicell is looking for a **dynamic and strategic Director of Revenue** to lead our Revenue Recognition team within the Finance organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring revenue is recognized in accordance with **GAAP standards** , optimizing processes, and partnering across the business to drive financial excellence.

    What You’ll Do

    + **Lead & Develop a High-Impact Team** – Build, mentor, and inspire a top-performing revenue team that adapts to Omnicell’s fast-growing business needs.

    + **Be the Revenue Recognition Expert** – Ensure compliance with **ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers)** and **ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)** while designing and implementing controls for **SOX compliance** .

    + **Drive Financial Integrity & Strategy** – Review sales agreements, analyze new revenue recognition standards, and oversee the **worldwide revenue close process** across multiple revenue streams.

    + **Collaborate Across Teams** – Work closely with **Sales, Legal, Professional Services, Sales Finance, Credit & Collections, and FP&A** to ensure transactions align with Omnicell’s revenue policies.

    + **Optimize & Innovate** – Continuously refine processes using **technology, automation, and workflow improvements** to enhance efficiency and scalability.

    + **Partner with Leadership** – Serve as a key advisor to **Executive Management** on revenue recognition policies, contractual negotiations, strategic initiatives and revenue forecasting.

    + **Drive Compliance & Reporting** – Prepare technical accounting memos, lead external auditor discussions, manage SSP analysis, and provide revenue recognition guidance and training to key stakeholders.

     

    What You Bring

    Required:

    + **8+ years** of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience, with at least **5 years managing teams of 5+** .

    + **3+ years in public accounting** (Big 4 or similar preferred).

    + Strong expertise in **ASC 606 revenue recognition** for software, hardware, SaaS, and services.

    + Experience managing **global revenue cycles** and **multiple-element arrangements** .

    + Proven ability to collaborate with **cross-functional teams** and work effectively with **executive leadership** .

    + Strong **ERP systems experience** and proficiency in **Excel** .

    Preferred:

    + **CPA and/or MBA** .

    + Experience in the **medical device or healthcare industry** .

    + Familiarity with **M&A transactions** and new business integrations.
