Who we’re looking for

At TFS, we’re embarking on a technology transformation journey, creating next generation products and platforms. These products enable TFS to provide a best-in-class experience to our customers and partners and position us to rapidly scale to realize our vision of mobility for all by enabling freedom of movement for everyone.

The **Domain Quality Lead** (also known as **Quality Engineer (QE) Manager** ) is responsible for managing the testing requirements for the Factory Quality and Certification through various testing types. The DQL will also look for opportunities to automate testing where possible to increase testing productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities Include:

+ Work with Business Domain Owner (BDO), Technology Domain Owner (TDO), Data Domain Owner (DDO), Product Owners (POs) and Technical Leads (TLs) to identify the skills and testing resources needed to support domain OKRs or enhancements

+ Manage assigned testing resources in the QE Horizontal Team and ensure that they are trained and coached to be successful

+ Accountable for creation of the overall Test plan and oversee the execution to ensure product features meet the highest quality standards

+ Create domain test automation plan and requirements based on the needs and priorities of the Domain

+ Provide regular testing status updates, reports, and raise risk/impediment concerns to the Domain and Factory Leadership

+ Ensure appropriate hygiene in Jira, use of enterprise testing tools, and availability of testing data provided by the TDM team

+ Facilitate QE team scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective), and participate in the Domain ceremonies

+ Ensure quality entry gate (Definition of Ready) and quality exit gates (Definition of Done) are met

What you bring

+ Ability to build, drive and support automation test strategy. Dedication to delivering great software and releasing it quickly, efficiently, and with growing quality

+ Excellent knowledge of QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools

+ Hands on experience in QE automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end applications, such as Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, SOAPUI etc

+ Experience creating multiple test frameworks from scratch. Experience in Java or Python, familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages

+ Understanding of REST and RESTful services

+ Expertise with continuous deployment systems using Maven, GIT, Spinnaker, and Jenkins; define branching, tagging, and code merging strategies

+ Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, and GCP

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot and resolve database related issues

+ Proficiency in SQL performance tuning in MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake

Bonus if you have

+ Experience in NoSQL databases is preferred

+ Experience with cloud database services such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS is a plus
