    Base Pay: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour, plus eligible shift premiums

    Current Opportunities:

    + Full-time, 40 hrs weekly, 4 pm - 12 am, including rotating weekends and holidays

    + Part-time, 16 hrs weekly, 4 pm - 12 am, including rotating weekends and holidays

    + Contingent, various shifts based on agency needs, including some weekends and holidays

     

    About You

     

    The ideal Milieu Specialist aims to calm an oftentimes chaotic situation. Your spidey senses are always on 100 and you react swiftly with a supportive and empathetic approach. In times of uncertainty, you seek to understand and are not afraid to ask questions. You’re comfortable working in a multidisciplinary environment, while accompanying the needs of your team. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are key, and you thrive in these areas. You are also able to manage evolving needs with ease.

    Day In the Life

     

    + Contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere

    + Create and maintain a safe environment for individuals experiencing a crisis

    + Monitor daily activities of individuals served, provide emotional support, and intervene to deescalate situations

    + Actively engage with your team, other departments, and individuals served

    + Provide recovery coaching to people that result in diverting them from in-patient hospitalization

    + Provide accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record

     

    What You Need to Apply

     

    + High school diploma or GED; Associates degree or higher, preferred

    + Minimum 1-year experience providing services to persons with serious mental illness

    + Valid driver's license
