    COMPENSATION:

    + $15.00/Hr

    + Hours may vary depending on participation

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

    + Participate in the preparation and serving of good quality food

    + Assist with the security, storage, and proper handling of food and supplies

    + Work to maintain standards of cleanliness, health, employee practices, and safety in the kitchen.

    + Assist with cooking and baking meals

    + Follow meal pattern requirement

    + Report equipment breakdowns according to procedures.

    + Complete payroll daily.

    + Positively represents the Department and District

    + Maintain open, positive communication with all people served by the food service department

    + Participate in meetings, in-services, and training, including computer training as requested

    + Process and complete all necessary paperwork or reports. Maintain accurate records.

    + Available to work flexible hours. Other duties as may be assigned

    PREPARATION,EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

    + Ability to work independently.

    + Maintains a positive attitude.

    + Strong knowledge of school food service program, nutritional standards, and sanitation.

    + Knowledge of meal pattern requirements

    + Accurate and detail oriented in processing paperwork.

    + Possess strong communication skills, customer service

    + Basic computer skills required

    + Demonstrates professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
