Sodexo is hiring a **Biomedical Equipment Technician 1** at **Endeavor Health Glenbrook Hospital** in **Glenview, Illinois.**

It is recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center—providing 24/7 access to a dedicated acute stroke team for timely diagnosis and treatment.

What You'll Do

+ Test electronic and mechanical equipment

+ Perform preventive maintenance inspections

+ Repair or replace defective parts

+ Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests

What You Bring

+ Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting

+ Decision making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair medical devices

+ Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and basic networking theory

+ 1 year of experience in biomedical, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting

+ Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
