Summary

Chenega Corporation is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Falls Church, VA. The ideal candidate will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining electronic security systems to ensure the safety and security of our clients' facilities. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.

+ Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine security needs and requirements.

+ Install, configure, and maintain security system hardware and software.

+ Perform regular system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

+ Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.

+ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and user manuals.

+ Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on security system operations.

+ Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve security solutions.

Qualifications

+ Proficiency in security system technologies, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.

+ Strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity principles.

+ Knowledge of AMAG and C-CURE security systems is preferred.

+ Bosch Video Management System certification is required.

+ Seven or more years of required experience.

+ Active Secret security clearance.

+ Knowledge of AMAG and C-CURE security systems is preferred.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
