Full-Time Epic Trainer
Reports to: Chief Medical Informaticist or Director of Clinical Informatics

The Epic Trainer is an integral part of the electronic medical record implementation team and will be the lead for ongoing training of new and existing staff. The trainer will be responsible for developing CBWCHC specific training materials as well as conducting Epic EHR training for new employees after the initial go-live. Additionally, they will coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure EHR upgrade information is disseminated in a timely and appropriate manner.
The ideal candidate for this role must possess strong organizational and communication skills. They must have a background in instructional design/training curriculum development and knowledge of various adult learning methods.
Responsibilities :
+ Develop and implement the training program for CBWCHC's new EHR
+ Create and maintain all training materials
+ Provide training support during go-live
+ Conduct end-user training for newly onboarded staff
+ Coordinate training needs for EHR software update
+ Work with EPIC ESA team as needed on building changes requiring training
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
+ Clinical and/or Healthcare experience strongly preferred
+ Current Epic certification preferred
+ Experience with Electronic Health Record implementation/training
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills
+ Experience delivering software training and/or developing training materials
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office
+ Must be able to work independently as well as part of a larger implementation team
Compensation and Benefits :
+ Salary: $70,000.00 - 90,000.00 per year
