    Position Overview

    The Senior Product Information Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of data used to support all component to component compatibility relationships within the online Truck/Bus ordering application. Compatibility validation rules, established by engineering, are translated by the Compatibility Specialist into the order configuration database.

     

    This position requires a self-starter who has a technical curiosity and likes to dive into root cause analysis. Verbal/written communication of complex information with other departments, such as Engineering, Product Configuration, and the Ordering Help Desk, will be necessary.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure the accuracy of the configurator system as feature offerings and vehicle models change• Resolve potential conflicts that may arise during the configuration process• Identify process improvements and recommend system modifications• Organize and prioritize multiple projects to meet specific deadlines• Provide cross-training to other team members and guidance to other departments such as Application Engineering, Customer Responsiveness Center and Dealer Field Support.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + At least 2 years of process or project management experience

    OR

    + Master’s degree

    OR

    + At least 4 years of process or project management experience

    Additional Requirements

    + Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
