    People Ready Skilled Trades now has an office in Columbus and is ready to hire! We are looking for Construction Trade People for projects in Ohio Indiana, Illinois and the surrounding areas.

     

    _Note: The hourly rate for this position is $19 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.     Responsibilities:

    + Preparing and cleaning: Remove debris and hazards from construction sites

    + Loading and unloading: Transport building materials, equipment, and tools

    + Digging and compacting: Dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth

    + Building and dismantling: Construct or take apart scaffolding, bracing, barricades, and other structures

    + Operating equipment: Use power tools and hand tools, such as jackhammers, saws, and drills, as well as heavy-duty equipment like bulldozers, cranes, and excavators

    + Assisting tradespeople: Help electricians, plumbers, carpenters, bricklayers, and masons

    + Following instructions: Follow construction plans, blueprints, and instructions from coworkers

    + Ensuring safety: Ensure safety compliance and report issues to the site supervisor

    + Controlling the work site: Put up barriers and signs or direct traffic

    Qualifications:

    + We're looking for hardworking General Construction Laborers for 1st shift positions

    + Perform various construction tasks, and maintain a clean and safe work site

    + Physical stamina, basic construction knowledge, and the ability to follow instructions are essential
