Senior team member responsible for overseeing engine related activities such as removal, reinstallation, engine bay inspections, and operational checks as well as ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsible for coaching and training F-16 Aircraft Technicians across multiple disciplines to assist with engine-related activities. Assists in the incorporation of new work scope into a site, and identifying opportunities to improve site operations. Assists other team members in aircraft structural and avionic/electrical modifications, upgrades, and repairs.
What you will be responsible for:
+ Coach and train other F-16 Aircraft Technicians
+ Assist in developing work cards, work instructions, job aids, and operation sequencing
+ Read, interpret, and adhere to technical orders, manuals, blueprints, service bulletins, and other related documentation
+ Perform applicable F-16 related maintenance tasks, including engine removal, engine bay inspection, engine reinstallation, and related operational checks in accordance with applicable technical orders
+ Complete scheduled and unscheduled F-16 maintenance, parts ordering, and other aircraft functions
+ Troubleshoot and assist with the repair, replacement, and rebuild of aircraft structures, systems, and components
+ Support other technician disciplines including depanel/repanel, running wire, structural modifications, electrical terminations, operational checks, and troubleshooting as required
+ Interact with site leadership, customer personnel, and other program representatives
+ All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
What you will need to be successful in this role:
+ Must meet one of the following requirements:
+ A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
+ An Associate's degree plus 6 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
+ High School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance
+ F-16 experience is strongly preferred, but other fighter jet experience may be considered
+ Must have experience with working from blueprint drawings, USAF TCTOs/TOs, diagrams, specifications, service manuals, sketches, templates, and other incomplete data
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 30 pounds to shoulder height
+ Must be able to lift and carry parts, tooling, and other awkward items sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs, including walking up and down stairs, aircraft maintenance stands, and platforms
+ Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday
+ Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
+ Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as-needed.
