Our client, a leader in the materials handling industry, is seeking a Senior Material Handler to join their team. As a Senior Material Handler, you will be part of the Inventory Control department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Material Handler
**Location:** Milpitas, CA
Pay Range: $34-$37
What's the Job?
+ Coordinate the on-time shipment of tools by ensuring the right material is available in the right quantities.
+ Oversee inventory control operations and lead material handlers to achieve daily productivity goals.
+ Provide daily directions and leadership to the Inventory Control department material handlers.
+ Anticipate and resolve internal and external issues affecting inventory control optimization.
+ Ensure compliance with good material handling practices and promote a culture of safety and organization.
What's Needed?
+ High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 5-7 years of experience in a materials department.
+ Knowledge of materials and ERP systems.
+ Ability to be forklift certified and train team members.
+ Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
