    Description: A Senior Embedded Software Engineer job in Louisville, CO 80027, is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace customers. We are seeking a talented Software Engineering professional to join our exciting team with focus on aerospace embedded systems. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience within the aerospace industry or other highly regulated industry experience.

    Job Duties:

    • Software requirements decomposition, analysis, definition, and traceability

    • Software design and development and lead/conduct design reviews

    • Operating System architecture and design development

    • Low Level driver development

    • Socket Architecture/Programming

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years software development/integration experience - preferably with aerospace embedded systems

    • 3+ years software requirements and design development

    • 5+ years Linux OS experience

    • Experience with Open Standards, specifically Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Universal C2 Interface (UCI)

    • Fully proficient in C++ programming, including architecture and board support packages

    • Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is a required

    • Secret or TS Clearance preferred

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

    • Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) standards for space data and information systems.

    • Command and Control Message (C2MS) standards

    • Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) technologies.

    • Pub/Sub Architecture

     

    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $130,000-200,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
