• Testing Technician - Electrical

    Overview

     

    Element has an opportunity for an **Electrical** **Test Technician** at our Kokomo, IN lab. Element Kokomo is an industry-leading provider of testing and inspection services for the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.

    Responsibilities

    + Setup and conduct product electrical tests per technical specifications

    + Operate laboratory equipment and instruments

    + Monitor test progress to meet scheduled milestones

    + Accurately record test results/documentation and write final reports

    + Acquire knowledge and proficiency in the use of general and specialized laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation

    + Prepare test samples

    + Perform tests using OEM and International Specifications

    + Perform standard engineering test measurements

    + Record test data and product performance

    + Prepare test reports

    Skills / Qualifications

    + Minimum of a two-year associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline and/or equivalent experience

    + Must have an aptitude for electrical or electronic technology

    + Basic understanding and ability to read technical specifications

    + Effectively works with others

    + Use of Microsoft Office

    + Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word

    + Good oral and written communication skills

    + Analytical ability to aid in problem resolution and troubleshooting

    + Understands the capabilities and application of basic laboratory instrumentation

    + Must be able to work 1st shift 7am-3:30pm-Monday-Friday
