Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller (Plant) in Asheville, North Carolina. The primary function of this role includes overseeing the financial activities of the plant. The workplace is dynamic and challenging, perfect for individuals who have a knack for numbers and a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations within the plant, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

• Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand and manage manufacturing costs.

• Conduct regular cost analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Employ your expertise in SAP to manage and organize financial data.

• Maintain a strong focus on cost inventory and month-end transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Act as a business partner to the new plant manager, offering financial insights and advice.

• Manage the plant's profit and loss statements, providing regular updates and reports.

• Lead the financial analyst, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Foster a strong relationship with the corporate office, coordinating shared services such as Accounts Payable/Receivable.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.

Requirements • Proficiency in SAP software is required.

• Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss accounts.

• Expertise in performing cost analysis.

• Extensive experience in manufacturing cost accounting.

• Knowledge and experience in standard cost accounting.
