Robert Half Legal is partnering with an international, AM100 law firm that's hiring a Commercial Finance Legal Assistant with at least 5-8+ years of experience to join their Private Credit practice group. This Commercial Finance Legal Assistant will support transactional attorneys that involves multi-tasking complex document production with heavy administrative functions and client contact requiring executive secretarial skills.. This position is paying between $80-95K+ plus bonus and phenomenal benefits. In addition, this firm offers a highly flexible hybrid WFH schedule and they have a phenomenal firm culture. Commercial Finance Legal Assistant Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and organize documents and forms requisite to the commercial finance practice area, such as term sheets, credit agreements, business certificates, exhibits, opinion letters, standard form loan documents, etc.

+ Assist with duties/tasks associated with commercial finance transactional closings

+ Create, edit/proofread, and compile large, complex, heavily formatted documents as well as prepare correspondence, memoranda and other legal documents from draft or dictated text

+ Prepare and edit correspondence, memoranda, and emails

+ Manage and maintain attorneys’ calendars, make travel arrangements, schedule appointments and meetings, arrange for conference rooms, and schedule conference calls, including domestic and international participants

+ Open new client matters and request conflicts of interest checks. Draft engagement letters for each new matter

+ Update attorney contacts, and maintain up-to-date listing of client/matter names and numbers for each attorney

+ Review and edit invoices, process client billing matters, input attorney's time, and process/submit expense reports for each attorney

Requirements

+ 5-8+ years of experience supporting attorneys in corporate finance/commercial lending; experience with corporate, real estate or other transactional areas preferred

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook)

+ Ability to work with complex, heavily formatted documents and revise documents from transcription

+ Working knowledge of iManage, IRM (or comparable records management software) or Adobe Acrobat required
