Description
We are seeking a Material Coordinator to oversee the flow of materials across multiple factory departments, ensuring production personnel have the necessary parts to meet production goals. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, resolving shortages, and executing production plans while coordinating with various teams.
This is a 3rd shift position requiring flexibility for overtime and weekend work as business demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the timely procurement, production, and delivery of materials across multiple departments
- Maintain inventory accuracy, resolve errors, and manage replenishment cycles
- Identify and correct root causes of material shortages to ensure uninterrupted production
- Utilize the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules
- Recommend and implement process improvements for inventory and supply chain operations
- Work within SAP or equivalent systems to track and manage inventory and scheduling
- Implement engineering release and change management processes effectively
Work Environment & Additional Details
- On-site position (remote work is not an option)
- Metatarsal boots required (other PPE provided)
- Expected 50-hour work week (8-10 hours per shift)
- Must be flexible to changing business demands, including potential overtime and weekend work

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Supply management or operations experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent MRP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous or current military experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyze data and drive improvements
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ambitious, motivated, and a can-do attitude
- Comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams
