We’re looking for an experienced Senior Construction Estimator preferably based out of Midwest, Mountain or Southern states supporting multiple state-wide projects.
Responsibilities include:
* Review and verify consultant cost estimates and develop cost estimates from conceptual to detailed.
* Provide change order reviews and negotiations along with bid review and schedule of value review and approval.
* Be a key contributor and mentor to a knowledgeable and supportive team as you prepare estimates by developing project work breakdown structures, calculating complete scope of work take-offs, and apply construction means and methods.
* Collaborate with our design teams on the quality and amount of input necessary to develop the required level of design build construction estimates.
* Tap into both your creative and analytical sides in this role as you develop reports and presentations as well as analyze historical data.
* At least 5-10 years working on building construction, Design-build/ Negotiated /General contractor experience with quantity take-offs and pricing experience
* General construction estimating responsibilities completed in a fast paced environment
* 15% travel anticipated
* Must be a US Citizen
* Ability to coordinate a task with a small team a must
* Ability to read and interpret contract documents and construction plans to prepare estimates schematic design thru construction detail
* Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in industry estimating software (Sage Timberline, Excel, On Screen Takeoff, Blue beam, Outlook, MS Teams)
Ideally, you will have:
* BS Construction Management or relevant education combined with relevant experience
