Team Member Focus Factory Lavonia 2nd Shift

Description

Responsibilities:

+ Compliance with safety and environmental regulations

+ Fill production log sheet/written records as directed

+ Regular independent learning

+ Regular maintenance of machinery and equipment as part of the maintenance and repair plans

+ Report deviations from the normal production process \(machine faults, tool malfunctions, material problems, etc\.\.\.\)

+ Report quality defects

+ Inspection of the parts in accordance with the worker\-inspection plan or according to instruction before packing

+ Packaging of products in accordance with instructions

+ As part of TPM, maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace at all times

+ Production experience, ideally in a company in the plastics packaging industry

+ Good understanding of technical processes

+ Good knowledge of operating supplies

+ Willingness to work in shifts

+ Willingness to follow training in order to become machine operator and Plant/installations operator

+ Readiness for self development in the field of plastics processing

Physical Requirements

+ Able to lift 35 pounds

+ Walking and standing for long periods \(at least 8 hours\)

+ Moving fuel tanks in and out of stations for 8 hours

+ Operating Lift assist \(moving around larger pieces of equipment\)

+ Using hand tools / hammer type tools

+ Bending down to pick up and move fuel tanks for 1 hour period \(WIP loading / unloading\)

+ Working around large equipment

+ Dexterity \(frequent use of 1 or 2 hands for tasks involving fingering, gripping and manipulation\)

+ Ability to work flexible hours and overtime\.

+ Ability to operate pallet jack \(powered\)

+ **Bending and lifting materials 5\-10 times in a row**
