    Team Lead Material Technician

    **Work hours:** Monday- Friday, Day’s

     

    What You Will Do

    Daily Operations:

    Keep daily warehouse operations functioning properly.

     

    Maintain accurate and detailed records of product received and delivered.

     

    Verify accuracy of receiving documentation.

     

    Oversee that all orders are pulled and/or delivered accurately and timely.

     

    Monitor supply bins for accurate identification and product availability.

     

    Coordinate deliveries and transfers of incoming capital orders with external vendors, internal stakeholders and other departments.

     

    Verify capital receiving documentation.

     

    Oversee that all automated patient supply system stock requisitions and/or patient chargeable items are refilled.

     

    Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert.

    Staffing/Training:

    Coordinate shift assignments to ensure adequate staffing.

     

    Orient new team members to the departmental processes.

     

    Provide input to management on staffing, performance reviews, and corrective action.

     

    Actively participate in training team members to strengthen knowledge and improve performance of the team.

     

    **Inventory** :

     

    Set up and adjust inventory par levels.

     

    Execute conversions and communicate to other departments.

     

    Ensure accurate inventory counts to avoid stock-outs and proper correction of inventory discrepancies.

    Backup and Support:

    Responsible for duties outlined in Technician Materials job description.

    Education

    Experience

    2 Years Materials management experience Required

     

    Hospital supply chain department experience Preferred

     

    Skills

     

    Good written and verbal communications skills.

     

    Understanding of purchasing and receiving systems.

     

    Ability to lead others. Record keeping skills.

     

    Capable of setting priorities and multi-tasking.

     

    Basic computer knowledge. Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
