• Manufacturing CAD Designer

    System One (Irwin, PA)


    Manufacturing CAD Designer Objective

     

    This role supports operations by producing detailed 3D Manufacturing Designs for both internal teams and external clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop assembly and component drawings for sales proposals, custom orders, and new product initiatives

    + Create and maintain accurate bills of material and component data within enterprise systems

    + Produce comprehensive technical documentation packages including 3D electronic files with appropriate specifications

    + Execute drawing modifications and updates while ensuring all systems remain synchronized

    + Collaborate with production, assembly, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

    + Support knowledge transfer by assisting with CAD-related training for new team members

    Requirements

    + Minimum 2 years of professional experience in manufacturing industry CAD design

    + Strong 3D CAD modeling capabilities

    + Creo proficiency preferred but not required

    + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

    + Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel

    + Manufacturing environment experience highly valued

    + Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred
