    Job Description

    Our Company

     

    SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

    Responsibilities

    + Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor

    + Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff

    + Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)

    + Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)

    + Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing

    + Replace potentially expiring inventory

    + Restock depleted inventory

    + Monthly audits (cycle count)

    + Provide reports for the facility

    + Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

    Qualifications

    + Important: Must be local to Central Texas area

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee

    + Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)

    + Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred

    + Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems

    + Good organizational skills and detail oriented

    + Basic math and analytical skills

    + Ability to physically perform light lifting

    + A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

    + Willing to drive long distances in the State of Texas

    + Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
