Overview

Ensure that the facility is clean to the highest standard and is able to function without interruption on a daily basis. This position pays $13/hr.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and tear down for special events / programs.

+ Maintain cleaning and sanitation techniques, while utilizing and operating commercial equipment.

+ Maintain cleanliness of building and property

+ Performs building repairs and performs maintenance repairs, as requested.

+ Assist in driving The Salvation Army’s vehicles for supplies, equipment or service as assigned.

+ Assist, as needed and requested, in the Christmas effort including kettles.

+ Takes pride in work and in the cleanliness of the building.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

• Must be 21 years or older• Must have a valid Ohio Drivers License and be able to drive for The Salvation Army• Must have prior maintenance / janitorial experience

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills and appropriate intervention skills required.• Strong knowledge of available resources required.• Must be passionate about the Mission of The Salvation Army and the Vision of the Cleveland Temple Corps.
