HEAVY CIVIL EARTHWORK SUPERINTENDENT - $115K - $150K DIRECT HIRE

Provide overall on-site management on construction project site.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

+ Supervise specific construction efforts to ensure project is in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

+ Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).

+ Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.

+ Assist Project Superintendents in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.

+ Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.

+ Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.

+ Perform additional assignments per Project Superintendent’s direction.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage 3 to 5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 7 to 10 employees in the field operations.

Requirements

Overall knowledge and experience in site work construction such as earthmoving, dewatering, underground utility construction, road, and parking lot construction & surveying. **Willingness to travel out of town.**

Clean background and Driving record
