    Job Description:

    The Department of Psychology at the University of Florida is seeking applications for an Assistant Instructional Professor position in psychology to begin August 16, 2025. This is a full-time, nine-month, renewable, non-tenure track position. The Department of Psychology is dedicated to promoting student engagement within and outside the classroom.

     

    Preference will be given to a candidate who is able to teach courses in the Behavior Analysis Area, including basic, applied, and/or conceptual topics. Successful candidates must also be willing to teach other general psychology courses. In addition, applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse undergraduate student population.     Minimum Requirements:

    Applicants will have a doctorate degree in Psychology by the start date of the position, August 16, 2025.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Able to teach basic, applied, and conceptual topics in Behavior Analysis

    + Able to teach foundational courses in Psychology outside of Behavior Analysis (e.g., General Psychology, Research Methods, etc.)

    + Commitment to mentorship of undergraduate students and teaching excellence
