Required Education/Experience

+ Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience.

+ Master's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience.

Preferred Education/Experience

+ Master's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience with ArcFM experience.

Relevant Work Experience

+ Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, required.

+ Exceptional document review skills, providing insightful comments to enhance project documentation, required.

+ Decisiveness in signing off on requirements, functional specifications, and component specs related to database management, required.

+ High-level understanding of databases, with a focus on geodatabases, required.

+ Proficiency in ESRI ArcCatalog for geodatabase administration, required.

+ Experience in providing access and privileges to geodatabase users, preferred.

+ Knowledge of geoprocessing tools for data manipulation and an Understanding of versioning processes, reconciliation, and geodatabase compress, preferred.

+ Familiarity with data replication processes in a geodatabase environment. Ability to repair geometry issues and ensure spatial data accuracy, preferred.

+ Proven experience in GIS database management, specifically in electric and gas utility operations, preferred.

+ Strong understanding of GIS applications and technologies, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands

+ Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.

+ Must be able to participate in the Companys emergency management processes and storm plans as required.
