Cognitive Retraining Specialist

Full time position

M-F

Do you want to work for a company that works to actively improve the lives of the individuals it serves? As the Cognitive Retraining Specialist, you will be providing outpatient-based individual and group therapeutic services to rehabilitation participants in clinic and residential settings

+ Provide post-acute services to adults who have sustained neurological injuries, with focus on cognition, physical functioning, and socioemotional development

+ Maintain daily, monthly, and semi-annual documentation in timely and professional manner

+ Frequently collaborate with other interdisciplinary team members with goal to provide optimal therapy services to individuals we serve

+ Attend weekly and monthly team meetings relevant to participant progress, program development, and standards set forth by accrediting body

+ Assist in creating and adjusting person-centered goals for individuals served alongside full rehabilitation team

_Qualifications:_

+ **Bachelor’s Degree - required**

+ Minimum of one year experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, serious mental health diagnoses, brain injury, spinal cord injury, or other condition affecting cognitive/physical functioning.

+ Self-motivated and detail oriented with ability to multi-task

+ Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly

+ Commitment to a team-oriented approach, as well as personal and professional growth
