    **Title:** AWS Cloud Security Engineer

    **Location:** Frisco, TX (Hybrid)

    *Must be in office 3 days a week*

    Key Responsibilities:

    AWS Cloud Network/Security Administration:

    + Design, Engineer and manage AWS Cloud solutions.

    + Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS Cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

    + Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for cloud systems.

    NGINX Administration: (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)

    + Design, Engineer and manage NGINX applications.

    + Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot NGINX applications to ensure optimal performance and security.

    + Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities for NGINX systems.

    Security Administration:

    + Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.

    + Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

    + Provide advanced technical support for AWS cloud networking issues.

    + Mentor and guide junior engineers and IT support staff.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    + Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and processes.

    + Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.

    Qualifications:

    **Education** : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

     

    Experience** : At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, NGINX+ and NGINX App protect. **(MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)

    Technical Skills:

    + AWS-specific skills: VPC Subnetting and Routing, VPN, Route53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Lambda, VPC endpoints, ALBs, NLBs, GWLBs, CloudWatch, WAF, Shield Advanced, Global Accelerators, NFW, Private Link.

    + Strong understanding of both NGINX+ and NGINX App Protect

    + Strong understanding of DDoS Mitigation Techniques

    + Strong understanding of the following network technologies: BGP, IPSec, SSL/TLS offloading, mTLS, NAT/PAT, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, IDS/IPS, L3/L4 Firewalls, iCAP.

    + Experience and in-depth understanding of TCP/IP packets with ability to analyze captured packets for deep troubleshooting.

    Key Competencies:

    **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

    **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    **Project Management:** Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
