    Lifeguard - Bethel, Alaska

     

    Part-time, 12 hours/week

     

    HealthFitness is looking for a **Lifeguard** to join the aquatics team at our YKFC client site in **Bethel, AK** . As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.

    Key Accountabilities

    + Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.

    + Role model, enforce and explain rules as necessary.

    + Respond appropriately to any emergency.

    + Perform chemical testing and documentation

    + Attend all required staff meetings and training.

    + Maintain a professional attitude.

    + Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Must be at least 15 years old.

    + American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required..

    + Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.

    + Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

     

    Compensation: $18 - $20/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
