    As an Associate SOC Analyst reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity Operations, you will protect Conagra's enterprise technology and data. This role is ideal for someone with a couple years of cybersecurity and/or IT experience looking to grow in the cybersecurity field. that helps to provide assurance for Conagra's critical assets and securely promote operations. You will support the business as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Incident Responder conducting multiple level of incident response activities from initial evaluation, incident investigations, threat hunting, and some detection engineering with multiple assigned cybersecurity projects.

    You Will (Responsibilities):

    + Focus on protecting the system by overseeing security alerts (SOAR, SIEM, EDR, etc), investigating for potential incidents, and collaborating with teams to resolve them

    + Analyze events, prioritizing threats, and taking action following industry frameworks (I.e., NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-61v2, containment, eradication, recovery)

    + Monitor security alerts and events from various tools, sources, and services to conduct in-depth analysis, and identify cause of incidents

    + Investigate and evaluate security alerts to determine the scope of impact, affected systems, and severity of threats while documenting case artifacts

    + Find and address new threats through cyber threat intelligence gathering and threat hunting activities

    + Perform analysis of collected data using specialized tools to detect and track intrusions on affected assets such as malware analysis in isolated sandbox environments

    + Use multiple security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and threat intelligence platforms

    + Provide accurate reports on security activities, trends, and metrics to leadership and team members

    + Commit to staying current with industry trends, latest threats, and security technologies to improve SOC capabilities

    You Have (Qualifications):

    + Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, or Information Technology, or similar STEM degree

    + 1+ years in cybersecurity and/or IT relevant experience

    + Certifications such as GCIH, CEH, Security+, CySA+, CCNA etc.

    + Have scripting experience such as Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash, etc.

    + Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK.

    + Self-starter with strong investigative and learning skills.

    + Problem-solving abilities with an analytic and qualitative eye for reasoning.

    + Communicate with all levels of audiences (team members, peers & leadership).

    + Ability to travel up to 10%

    + This is a hybrid remote/in-office role and will require onsite work 3 days per week in our Omaha, NE office

    + We prefer applicants to be local to Omaha, NE.

    Compensation:

    Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

     

    _The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
