• Associate Residency Director

    AnMed Health (Anderson, SC)


    The Associate Residency Director provides leadership and oversight, along with the Residency Director, for the AnMed Family Medicine Residency in its inpatient and outpatient settings, including the ambulatory teaching site for the residency at the AnMed Family Medicine Center. The Associate Director provides direct oversight of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation for the residency.

    EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

    Required qualifications include :

    + Successful completion of Medical School (with MD or DO degree) and Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics Residency

    + Board Certification (current) by the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, or the American Board of Pediatrics

    + Demonstrated clinical expertise in specific area of ambulatory primary care appropriate for teaching in a Family Medicine Residency

    + Experience as a Family Medicine faculty member (minimum suggested period = 3 years) with recognized expertise in teaching and medical education.

    Preferred Qualifications include :

    + Leadership in national or state teaching activities or state or national medical organizations

    + Leadership and administrative experience within a Family Medicine Residency or other primary care ambulatory residency

    + Demonstrated capabilities in communication, leadership, and organization
