    The Bi-lingual Supervisor of Case Management Services assists the Manager of Case Manager Services in the oversight and completion of all case management functions for the KidsHaven program as described in the ORR Cooperative Agreement.

    Job Duties:

    + Collaborate with the Manager of Case Management Services - KidsHaven on the delivery of all case management services to the clients within the KidsHaven program.

    + Directly supervise a team of up to 7 Case Managers within the program, ensuring that all services are delivered to meet ORR policy expectations and deadlines as well as all licensing and regulatory requirements.

    + Assist in the Quality Assurance process within the program, ensuring that the medical records for all clients served are in compliance with all deadlines and policy requirements, as outlined in licensing, and regulatory standards.

    + Ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, and professional conduct are adhered to, ensuring that all ORR, licensing and other regulatory policies and procedures are followed by their direct reports.

    + Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld, as specified in licensing and regulatory policies and procedures, including all paper charts as well as electronic medical record systems.

    + Design, implement, and monitor new and innovate approaches in the delivery of case management services to the KidsHaven population, whether instigated internally or through ORR direction. Ensure quality improvement processes are in place to ensure that services meet the highest standards of practice.

    + Teach and mentor case managers to complete thorough assessments and clearances for all potential sponsors identified for reunification, assisting in professional development in the areas of screening and assessment as well as assisting in the strengthening of case management skills for staff within the department.

    + Participate in and help lead their direct reports in the weekly Staffing meetings with ORR/GDIT personnel to ensure that meetings are focused, comprehensive, and goal driven with the purpose of providing updates on reunification process and discussing discharge planning.

    + Assist the Manager of Case Management Services - KidsHaven in the recruitment, hiring, supervision, development, evaluation and training of all case management staff. Responsible for completing all administrative supervision, ensuring that all case managers are meeting all training and organizational Human Resources.

    + Provide oversight, supervision, and, when necessary, direct involvement with both internal and external customers.

    + Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in care.

    + Maintain a fiscal awareness regarding census and budget related issues. Work with other members of the program leadership team on the effective performance of the program and meeting ORR expectations.

    + Aid in on-call rotation, if applicable.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's Degree and three years of progressive employment of proven case management experience. Master's Degree in a related social science or clinical discipline preferred,

    + Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated experience leading a team preferred.

    + Must possess competency in computer knowledge and skills in multiple platforms.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification required.

    + Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and flexible hours as required.

    + Bi-lingual Proficiency (ability to communicate in written and oral form) in English and Spanish required.
