Who is TOCA:

TOCA Football is an indoor soccer center developed by a team of soccer professionals, where innovative and transformative products are combined with unique leagues, to allow players to focus on fun & community. TOCA is where players of all levels go to enjoy camaraderie & exercise.

The Position:

TOCA is looking for Soccer Referee’s for our soccer leagues that work in coordination with the mission of TOCA. TOCA's mission is to provide the highest quality leagues to enhance the soccer experience for players at all levels from recreational to professional.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the beautiful game. Our Centers run most of their leagues between 6:00PM - Midnight on weekdays, 12:00PM - Midnight on weekends.

The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated person who loves the game of soccer, and plays, or has played the game at a high level. They would also have an excitement for working with players and showing a willingness to develop, set goals, and help guests have an amazing experience..

Other traits that are desired include having a positive attitude, willingness to be part of a team environment, and a desire to be challenged and stretched beyond your comfort zone.

This is a part-time, 1099 contracted position with hours ranging between 15 to 25 hours per week. Leagues will run between the hours of 6:00PM - Midnight, Monday through Friday, and from Noon - Midnight on Weekends.

Job Functions:

+ Oversee Games

+ Enforce rules and regulations of the games you are officiating

+ Explain rules and regulations as needed to ensure understanding

+ Make calls when rules are broken and assess penalties

+ Administrative Functions

+ Track time of games

+ Track attendance of players

+ Track game and team statistics

+ Inspect Equipment

+ Conduct an inspection of equipment to meet safety standards

+ Ensure all equipment meets the specifications of the games being played

+ Guest & Player Experience

+ Uphold the culture and values of the TOCA brand

+ Display a consistent positive attitude & effort

+ Create an atmosphere of high energy and excitement

Qualifications:

Experience Fit:

+ Minimum of high school soccer playing experience

+ Experience refereeing soccer matches or in a league setting is preferred

+ USSF licensing certifications is preferred

Skills Fit:

+ Possessing full knowledge of soccer rules and regulations

+ Ability to enforce rules and regulations

+ Examining sports equipment for compliance and safety adherence

Culture Fit:
