Job Description

+ Develop and maintain accurate plan budgets, analyze reports related to estimating activities, and track status of assigned projects.

+ Manage all aspects of the bid coordination process, including blueprint validation, bid request preparation, research and cost comparison reporting.

+ Maintain master job cost files and convert material lists and cost estimates to database.

+ Coordinate the flow of information among suppliers, vendors, purchasing staff, builders & DWH computer systems.

+ Generate price pro-forma and other financial reporting for all communities.

+ Field visits for takeoff validations.

+ Interact directly with builders, internal sales personnel, and suppliers.

+ Provide generalized service support for internal customers.

Qualifications

+ Experience in Estimating or knowledge of construction and understanding blueprints is required.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel preferred.

+ Solid mathematical and analytical skills.

+ Strong organization and communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently for long periods while supporting and contributing to your team.

+ Initiative to drive required activities to completion in a timely manner.

+ JD Edwards or other database system knowledge is a plus.

+ Autodesk Design Review and estimating software experience is a plus.
