    Performance Testing Consultant – SAP

    Required Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience in performance engineering, with specific exposure to SAP systems.

     

    Strong experience in performance testing of SAP applications.

     

    Experience working on **S/4 HANA implementations** both Brownfield and Greenfield.

     

    Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, and C++.

     

    Expertise in performance testing tools, including LoadRunner Enterprise, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman.

     

    Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, visualization, end-to-end performance evaluation, and root cause analysis.

     

    Experience working with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and RESTful APIs.

     

    In-depth knowledge of **performance-tuning SQL queries** .

     

    Proficient in using application performance monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.

     

    Skilled in using various profiling tools to efficiently identify performance bottlenecks.

     

    Extensive hands-on experience with JVM tuning techniques.

    Good to have Skills:

    Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

     

    Experience with Cloud-based platforms, particularly AWS and GCP.

     

    Expertise in performance assessment and optimization of complex applications built on the SAP BTP platform.

     

    Understanding of SAP BTP components such as API Management (APIM), SAP Integration Suite, Conversational AI (CAI), Data Intelligence (SAP DI), and AWS storage services.

     

    Proficiency in BTP technologies, such as Smart Data Integration (SDI).

     

    Experience in performance testing and analysis of SCP iOS SDK mobile apps.

     

    Expertise in application and database performance monitoring in SAP BTP using tools like Kibana, HANA DB cockpit, and SAP BTP cockpit.

     

    Basic understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and principles.

     

    Strong understanding of relational databases and in-memory databases.

     

    Solid understanding of Algorithms and Big-O notation.

     

    Experience with code management using Git.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Define, develop, and apply performance and scalability benchmarks to ensure optimal system functionality.

    • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to characterize, debug, and enhance system performance and scalability across various components.

    • Utilize profiling tools efficiently to identify performance bottlenecks, providing in-depth root cause analysis.

    • Design and conduct experiments to assess the performance impacts of system modifications and enhancements.

    • Plan, implement, and analyze performance tests using an automated testing environment, ensuring comprehensive result evaluation.

    • Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions across teams, owning the quality perspectives for the design and contributing to cross-team engineering efforts.

    • Oversee performance engineering for SAP systems, ensuring optimal efficiency and stability.

    • Perform performance testing on SAP applications, analyzing the results to drive improvements.

    • Contribute to the successful implementation of S/4 HANA, focusing on performance aspects of the system.

    • Write and maintain scripts and tools using one or more programming languages to aid in performance analysis.

    • Tune databases and optimize SQL queries to ensure high performance in production and testing environments.

    • Leverage Application Performance Management (APM) tools, such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Splunk, to monitor and optimize system performance.
