We support the development of our people and are committed to growing together, inclusively. *SUMMARY: *Casuals will be lashing down cargo, working inspections, or tasked with various jobs on the terminal. Casuals may also operate yard jockey trucks to load and offload barges. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *Required to perform duties in the freight warehouses, lashing onboard vessels, working in various other positions throughout the terminal, and performing other physical and manual labor tasks as directed by terminal management. *PAY:* $20.60/hourly */Benefits are provided for employees./ *HOURS:* No set schedules or guaranteed hours - the job is *ON-CALL*. Casuals are *NOT GUARANTEED* a (40) forty-hour work week nor a full-time regular position with the company. Hours are assigned daily as needed based on vessel operations. Casual lasher/drivers are temporary employees used to cover situations such as replacements for absenteeism, vacation, and increased workload.
