    Key Objective(s):

    The Business Development Associate (BDA) will support the efforts of the Sales team by prospecting and qualifying new leads. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial team member who has an innate ability to identify prospective guests, contact them, and discover opportunities for visiting American Dream. As a BDA you will be responsible for 1) generating a pipeline of new leads via outreach and 2) Handing qualified and interested leads off to the appropriate Account Executive.

     

    As a BDA hire, you’ll lead the development and execution of our strategy for all outbound efforts focused on generating sales via private events and group visits to all attractions/venues within American Dream. You’ll engage in conversations with event producers, leaders of local organizations, neighboring companies, families, and many others to identify opportunities for them to visit our property. Success will be measured by your ability to generate qualified opportunities that directly lead to new business revenue.

     

    The Sales team at American Dream is fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial. The BDA candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and constantly looking to improve while exceeding their goals. We’re looking for someone that is excited about the opportunity to play a key role in the early days of building our sales team and embraces autonomy in their day-to-day.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Own outbound calls: Strategize and execute outreach campaigns to build a pipeline of new business opportunities across multiple verticals.

    + Provide interested outbound leads to Account Executives.

    + Enter and update data in the corresponding systems in real time (spreadsheet, email, sales tracking system).

    + Conduct initial qualification calls with potential customers to identify opportunities with them.

    + Iterate on the process: Develop unique approaches to outreach and come up with new campaign ideas that will lead to new opportunities.

    + Meet with Sales team weekly to discuss sales opportunities and goal achievement.

    + Assigned other responsibilities as needed.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + 1+ years of experience in a sales rep/business development role

    + You’re a self-motivated salesperson that knows how to get your foot in the door with any company

    + You’re comfortable leading initial new business meetings to qualify opportunities and present our value prop

    + Ability to quickly learn the functionality and benefits of Salesforce and other sales platforms.

    + You have experience and a passion for using technology wherever possible to maximize your efficiency

    + You are a strong communicator and highly collaborative

    + You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, quota-driven role
