    Ophthalmologist - FT We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our team at Northern Montana Specialty Medical Center, a Rural Health Clinic located in Havre, MT. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services to a diverse patient population, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases and conditions. This role is crucial in ensuring access to high-quality eye care for our rural community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct thorough eye examinations and diagnose various eye conditions.

     

    - Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and laser procedures.

     

    - Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.

     

    - Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.

     

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

     

    - Participate in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.

    Qualifications:

    - Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.

     

    - Valid medical license to practice in Montana.

     

    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

     

    - Commitment to serving underserved populations.

     

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
