    Position: BG-1 Night Cleaner 2ndshift (Posting Number 2425-3089)

     

    Hours: Monday - Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm

     

    Start Date: As Needed

     

    Salary: Hourly wage will be determined by the current CCMA contract as well as experience

    We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:

    + Must have knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, equipment, and the ability to use them economically and efficiently.

    + The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand/follow simple oral/written directions.

    + The right person for this position will be thorough, dependable, and in good physical condition.

    + The ideal candidate must show initiative/imagination/willingness to perform janitorial tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    + Must be able to perform and be knowledgeable in the upkeep of building, furniture and fixtures such as:

    + Sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing halls, stairs and entries

    + Dusting, polishing, washing furniture, walls, lavatory facilities

    + Vacuuming carpets and furniture

    + Securing windows and offices

    + Operating floor care machines

    + Securing and locking windows and office/classroom doors.

    + Operates mechanical equipment, moves, or unloads heavy furniture and boxes

    + Making complete rounds of all areas of jurisdiction daily
