    Position Overview

    As a Pallet Sorter, you will empty return trailers from store deliveries of empty pallets, totes, and cardboard bales.

    + Earn $15.00 per hour + $4.00 freezer premium pay

    + Full Time TBD but will include Sunday & Friday

    + 1st Shift 7am - 5;30pm

    + 53 Summit Lock Rd Westfield MA 01085

    You will contribute by:

    + Sorting through returned packaging and move to proper place in warehouse

    + Unloading returned trailer-truck's cargo hold of returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales

    + Sorting pallets, totes, and cardboard bales according to truck, color, and destination

    + Recording data regarding amount and type of returned packaging

    + Loading packaging onto appropriate trucks according to vendor

    + Cleaning work area at the end of each shift

     

    What’s a great way to stay in shape?

     

    + Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

    + Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

    + Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

    + Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

    + Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

    + Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
