We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook with over 5 years of experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality dishes, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to our kitchen's excellence. Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and established standards

+ Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies

+ Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards

+ Follow and enforce food safety and sanitation regulations

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area

+ Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff

+ Assist in inventory management and stock rotation

+ Participate in menu development and suggest improvements

+ Train and mentor less experienced kitchen staff

+ Adapt to changing needs during busy periods

Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 5 years experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen

+ Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

+ Thorough understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment

+ Strong knife skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent time management and organizational skills

+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

+ Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

+ ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)

+ Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Required Skills:

+ Proficiency in multiple cooking stations (e.g., grill, sauté, fry)

+ Ability to read and execute standardized recipes

+ Strong communication skills

+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

+ Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Experience:

+ Background in fine dining, upscale casual restaurants & or  catering

+ Experience with diverse cuisines and cooking styles

+ Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques

+ Familiarity with kitchen management software

Physical Demands:

+ Standing for extended periods

+ Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching

+ Working in a hot kitchen environment

+ Handling sharp objects and potentially hazardous materials
