Description
The Department of Pediatrics and Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong, are seeking a pediatric sleep medicine specialist to provide inpatient and outpatient care in respective clinical settings. We are interested in candidates with Pediatric Sleep Medicine expertise in areas of assessment and treatment of all pediatric sleep medicine disorders. Rotation of call responsibility within the division will also be required. The University of Rochester Department of Pediatrics is nationally/ internationally recognized for its contributions to community pediatrics, pediatric basic and clinical research with global implications for child health, and its outstanding residency program.
Qualifications
Candidates must be BC/BE in Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology or Otolaryngology. Successful candidates will have shown outstanding clinical accomplishment and commitment to Pediatric Sleep Medicine. Board Certified, NYS, license, DEA, fellowship trained Pediatric Sleep Medicine candidates will be considered. Candidates must have considerable knowledge and experience in the area of Pediatric Sleep Medicine. All areas of clinical pediatric sleep medicine are required.
Minimum Education Requirements: Medical Degree, completion of a General Pediatrics, Pediatric Neurology or Otolarlyngology residency. Candidates should have either upcoming, ongoing or completed fellowship training in Sleep Medicine that is anticipated to result in board eligibility or board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Sleep Medicine.

Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience, and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
