Knowledge skills and abilities:

+ Promote and carry out the Hitachi Core Values.

+ Critical Thinking -Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of problems/processes finding alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to these issues.

+ Problem Solving - Reviewing related information to identifying problems, develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

+ Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate outcome.

+ Collaborations with different job functions and levels of management.

+ Analyze data and find insights to improve operations.

Education:

+ 4-Year college degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or similar curriculum of study.

Experience:

+ Engineering skills including knowledge of control systems, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics and factory floor equipment programming.

+ Experience PLC programming and troubleshooting. (Keyence, Mitsubishi PLC preferred)

+ Knowledge of computer systems (specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) to perform and present analysis for necessary job duties.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to create and present concepts to internal teams and all levels of management.

+ Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

+ Experience in 220VAC and 24VDC electrical wiring and systems.

+ Perform new model verification and create documentation to support findings such as CPK, Repeatability, Gage R&R studies.
