Job Title: Machine Repair Mechanic 1st & 2nd Shifts

Department: Maintenance

Supervisor: Maintenance Manager

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shifts

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

+ Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment

+ Requires standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level

+ Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment

+ Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]

+ Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:

+ 24 VDC, 110 and 480/600 3 Phase VAC electrical systems

+ Hydraulic Systems

+ Pneumatic Systems

+ Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling

+ Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types

+ Electrical

+ Hydraulic

+ Pneumatic

+ Structural

+ The ability to safely operate power tools

+ Possesses own set of hand tools

PAY RATE: Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time.

High School graduate or GED with three years on-the-job experience are preferred requirements for this position.

+ Read and interpret paperwork (prints & orders).

+ Maintain a clean work area.

+ Maintain goals per established schedules and standards.

+ Working knowledge of tools & equipment used in the maintenance dept.

+ Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with other employees, customers and vendors.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., repetitive motion, pushing, pulling and reaching.

Visual acuity.
