Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology - Heart Failure

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic Heart Failure Cardiology team in York, PA.

What you can expect at your practice:

+ Enjoy a well-balanced lifestyle: (4) 10-hour shifts

+ Provide comprehensive care to patients with heart failure in both inpatient and outpatient settings

+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, nurses, pharmacists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans

+ Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient and family education

+ Monitor and manage patients with LVADs, cardiac devices, and those undergoing evaluation for advanced heart failure therapies

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or

+ Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required

+ Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

+ 1 year Required

Licenses:

+ Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and

+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and

+ Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and

+ Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or

+ Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
