The **Project Delivery Manager in Training** will be conversant in financial terms and metrics related to projects and programs and have experience reviewing these terms and metrics and identifying risks and mitigations for Business Management Leaders to focus on. The candidate will frequently take part in training our Project Managers (PM) with tools to successfully manage profitable projects while providing quality deliverables to clients. This role requires excellent communication skills throughout all phases of the Project Delivery Life Cycle from proposals to project closeout and an understanding of team, client and stakeholder communication health. Project Delivery Managers exude strong leadership, active and influential communication, problem-solving skills and a commitment to our Clients, Project Managers and Business Line leaders.

Your Impact
Key Responsibilities:
+ The successful candidate will be conversant in financial terms and metrics related to projects and programs and have experience of reviewing these and identify potential risks and mitigations for Business Management Leaders to focus on.
+ Candidate will take part in training our PMs with tools to successfully manage profitable projects, while providing quality deliverables to clients.
+ An excellent communicator who is proactive with PMs in all phases of Project Delivery life cycle from proposals to project closeout.
+ Leads in developing work plans for addressing technical issues within project time and budget including participation in Monthly Project Reviews.
+ Provides leadership in technical and professional activities on projects.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
Military Experience
+ Roles with a heavy focus on financial management or oversight, budgeting, accounting, logistics, contracting, supply chain or acquisitions.
+ Examples of Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) include:
+ Army 36B – Financial Management Technician, 88N, Transportation Management Coordinator
+ Navy Logistic Specialists (LS), Supply Corps Officers or those that have worked with Navy Financial Management Officers
+ Airforce Logistics specialists or officers, Financial Management Comptrollers
+ Marine Corps Financial Management Resources Analysts or supply chain administrators or operations specialists
+ Coast Guard Storekeepers (SK) or finance and supply specialists or officers
Education
+ B.S. in Engineering-related Field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or other related field)
+ 6+ years of experience in Engineering-related field with a focus on responsibility for cost and schedule control reported internally within a company.
+ Skillsets:
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to details
+ Ability to perform efficiently and independently within the design budget and schedule, to produce high quality deliverables responding to clients’ program.
+ Proficient with MS Office Suite of Programs
+ Demonstrated ability in risk identification and mitigation skills
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Skillsets/Qualifications
+ Professional Licensure/certification (PMP, CAPM)
+ Experience with project management, team coordination, financials and leadership.
+ Prior experience in an engineering setting.
