RN HOSPICE for Weekend track position. Enhanced rate for this unique track position!

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for an RN to work as part of our Hospice Care Team caring for patients and families in the homecare and NH setting. Primary region to cover is Schenectady, Albany and Rensselaer counties.

**_Work only Every_** **_Saturday&Sunday_** **8a-8p -** no hours required during the week once trained

What you will do:

+ You will respond to symptom management needs and coordinate with our team to provide end of life support to patients and families.

+ Work with an interdisciplinary team

What you will need:

+ Valid NYS RN license

+ Associate’s degree in nursing

+ 2 years RN experience required- preferably in home care

+ Previous hospice experience preferred but NOT required.

+ Ability to navigate through several EMR platforms

+ Good communication skills.

+ Valid driver license in good standing and reliable vehicle

Community Hospice provides a thorough orientation, preceptors and a supportive work environment. Training provided in end of life care.

SUPPORTED BY A HOSPICE RN SUPERVISOR in the office 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday and an OnCall RN Supervisor after hours, so assistance and guidance is only a phone call away!

Experience based (non-weekend track) Pay Range:$35.00 - $47.75

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
