Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated Credentialing Manager, also known as a Provider Onboarding Specialist, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all credentialing and onboarding processes for new physicians and advanced practice providers. Your duties will include data capture and claims processing for acquisitions.

What you will do in this role:
+ Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
+ Updates and maintains physician CVs.
+ Completes initial applications on all physicians for local and outreach hospitals.
+ Completes initial credentialing applications on all physicians for managed care companies.
+ Ensures all physicians’ licensure, DEA and DPS certificates are current.
+ Ensures all physician extenders’ licensure and certificates are current.
+ Obtains credentials for all physician extenders with each hospital at which their sponsors have privileges.
+ Ensures CME hours meet licensure requirements.
+ Handles on-boarding of all management for revenue cycle integration.
+ Assists with communications for the corporate regulatory/legal framework and ensures that all acquisitions and divestitures have met standards as provided.
+ Delivers training and trouble shoots all integration issues.
+ Responsible for overall acquisition/ merger process until provider is active and no claims are on hold.
+ Assists in the development of documentation methods to be used in transition process.
+ Assists with Practice Green Light on-boarding as needed.
+ Participates in educational activities.
+ Maintains strictest confidentiality.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.
What Qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required. Healthcare Administration preferred.
+ Three to Five years medical office experience.
+ Two years medical insurance background.
+ No license requirements
