    **Verdantas** is seeking a talented **Field Technician** to join our team in the **Dover, DE** office.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects

    + Review activities and provide oversight on a variety of construction projects within the fields of geotechnical engineering and construction

    + Field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, concrete masonry, and steel construction

    + Review, understand, and interpret project plans and specifications, shop drawings, product data, and RFIs

    + Completion of field documentation in a timely manner, such as job safety analysis (JSA) forms, project field reports, field notes, soil, concrete, and asphalt datasheets, monitoring, and chain-of-custody forms

    + Recordkeeping and maintenance of testing equipment

    + Additional tasks may include laboratory testing of soils and concrete

    + Operate and maintain company vehicles

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + 1 or more years of experience with collecting soil, concrete, groundwater, or other construction material samples

    + 1 or more years working in construction

    + Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment

    + Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances

    + Must have a valid driver's license

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Associates Degree

    + Troxler Nuclear Density Gauge Certification

    + ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Certification

    + ICC Special Inspector Certification (concrete, masonry, and steel)

    + State of NJ Department of Community Affairs Uniform Construction Code Certification (DCA)

    + NICET (Soils, Asphalt, or Concrete)

    + AWS Certified Weld Inspector

    + OSHA 40-Hour Certification
