    + GENERAL DESCRIPTION

    + The Stress Testing Tech must be able to direct treadmill exercise stress tests as well as administer Lexiscan and or Aminophylline while monitoring patient for any possible reactions. The Stress Testing Tech is directly responsible for the care of patients during exams, facilitates cooperative formal and informal working relationships with other staff and physicians. Assures compliance with rules and regulations of the department and facility and provides services and care in a manner which enhances the environment and image of the Buchanan County Health Center. The Stress Testing Tech maintains confidentiality of all hospital matters and will maintain an ACLS certification and Registered Nursing licensure or Paramedic licensure.

    + EDUCATION and TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    + + ACLS certification

    + Registered Nursing licensure or Paramedic licensure

    + WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    + Prefer 1 year experience in reading a 12 lead EKG interpretation or willing to train.
