    Description We are in the legal industry, based in New York, and currently in need of a Business Development Coordinator. This role is primarily centered around the coordination and enhancement of our business development processes, with a focus on handling incoming requests, assisting with the RFP process, and gathering competitive intelligence to support new business opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and handle incoming requests for business development materials, including the creation and customization of pitch materials.

    • Actively participate in the firm's RFP process, which includes planning calls with attorneys, drafting and finalizing response documents, and collaborating with various teams to gather necessary information.

    • Perform competitive intelligence gathering using various tools to support new business opportunities, client meetings, pitches, proposals, and events.

    • Support the firm with periodic client and firm data requests, including general firm surveys, diversity data requests, and ESG surveys.

    • Regularly track win/loss statistics for pitches, proposals, and other RFPs to evaluate effectiveness and areas for improvement.

    • Collaborate with the legal credentialing team to handle ad hoc submissions.

    • Work alongside the marketing team to create customized marketing materials for events and contribute to other marketing department projects as needed. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in the legal industry

    • Proven ability to manage proposals and RFPs

    • Proficiency in preparing and handling RFP documents

    • Strong understanding of the RFP process

    • Experience in crafting effective RFP responses

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Proven track record in business development within a legal setting

    • Strong organizational and project management skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or related fields
